Our History
Moduflex was formed as a specialist mobile base manufacturer in 1991. The founding partners were Chris Rudge and Tony Blunden, who have worked in tandem to create the business that is Moduflex today. From its original inception Moduflex has always been a trade only supplier, and its intention is to stay that way.
Many people within the storage industry will be familiar with the name Chris Rudge, as he has been synonymous with the design and development of mobile storage in England for 30 years. He was instrumental in the founding and running of the original Bristol based mobile manufacturing Company. Tony Blunden's background is in civil engineering, and his vast experience in the construction industry has proved invaluable in ensuring the smooth running of large sites, and general management of time critical projects.
Moduflex has increased its turnover and profit each year. This growth, in an extremely competitive field demonstrates our credentials as a strong market player. We at Moduflex believe our innovative products and unique approach to our customers ensure that we stay at the very forefront of our field, which helps us to grow, and serve your needs better.
Chris retired from the business in 2009 and whilst Tony still plays an active role in the organisation, Moduflex has a new Managing Director in the form of Richard Blunden who steps up from the role of Operations Director where he has been instrumental in driving the quality design and manufacturing processes which are synonymous with the success of Moduflex.
Moduflex now has a turnover in excess of £5 Million annually, and employs 35 people directly, and a further 20 on subcontract basis.
